Marijuana - Today and Tomorrow - Discover the Impact


WHAT:
In collaboration with Erie County Council for the Prevention of Alcohol and Substance Abuse (ECCPASA), Erie 1 BOCES invites you to attend a full day professional development session. The day will feature a key-note speaker from Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM) followed by a panel discussion and the sharing of appropriate resources. Additionally, there will be time to debrief the myths and facts and engage in collegial conversations with education and agency providers from across the county. Objectives for the day include:
  -   Policy Issues
  -   Collaborations with Parents and Community Members
  -   Safe and Healthy Learning Environment
  -   Healthy Decision Making
  -   Identifying Individuals with Potential Problems

TARGET AUDIENCE: Guidance Counselors, Social Workers, Nurses, School Psychologists and School Administrators, Youth Workers, PTA Leaders, Prevention Professionals, Legislators and Interested Community Members
